THE WELLINGTON SCHOOL SOMERSET LODGE NO 7230,
April 2026 meeting
Due to a family accident our Worshipful Master was not present, but W.Bro.Clive Dunster stepped into the breach and took the chair for the ceremony.
Bro.Sergi Scerbatihs, of Fidelity & Sincerity, was presented to the Worshipful Master, who put the customary questions to him before passing to the second degree and then entrusted Bro.Sergi with the pass grip and password leading to the second degree,
The Lodge was opened in the second degree.
- Bro. Clive then gave the gavel to W.Bro. Roberto Carboni, WM of Fidelity and Sincerity Lodge.
Bro.Sergi was re-admitted, proved by the Wardens and then obligated by W.Bro. Roberto.
- Bro Les.Neville entrusted Bro.Sergi with the secrets of the degree.
He was then invested with the distinguishing badge of a Fellowcraft Freemason by the Senior Warden W.Bro.Gary Beasley, assisted by Bro Andy Bragg, of the Lodge of Fidelity & Sincerity who gave the ‘’let me add’’ address.
Bro.John Caulfield delivered the charge in the South East corner.
W.Bro.John Cottrell presented the extended version of the second degree Working Tools.
Bro. Sergi then retired from the Lodge and was restored to his personal comforts.
- Bro Roberto Carboni ‘’W.M. of Fidelity and Sincerity, then returned the gavel to W.Bro.Dunster,
Bro.Sergi was then re-admitted, and the second degree tracing board was presented by W.Bro.Roberto, in what can only be described as, an exemplary manner.
Thanks were given to all the brethren of Fidelity & Sincerity Lodge, also to Bro. Paul Elison of Fidelity & Sincerity who stood in as our Junior Deacon
The evening culminated in a most enjoyable festive board.
